With the key goal of encouraging medical students to specialise in an oncology related discipline, ECCO is organising two Elective Courses in Oncology for Medical Students. The first course will take place in Antwerp (Belgium) from 8 to 19 July 2013 and the second course in Poznan (Poland) from 19 to 30 August 2013.
The courses provide insight into all aspects of oncology with both theoretical and practical sessions.
The courses are open to students who have completed their fourth year of studies at the time of the course. Students will be selected through a competitive application process. Successful candidates benefit from free registration and accommodation as well as a travel grant. Forty eight students will be selected for the two courses.
The courses have been designated for European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System Credits (ECTS).
Applications can only be submitted electronically via the ECCO website between 25 February and 21 April 2013.
