The International Tropical Medicine Summer School annually organized by Faculty of Medicine and health science Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia in a unique summer school program combining the Academic and student’s activities. The aims of the summer school are to broaden the students’ knowledge in the emerging tropical medicine diseases, able to perform physical examinations, laboratory findings, Diagnose and treatments in the modified Problem Based Learning (PBL) system.
Venue: Faculty of Medicine and Health Science Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and affiliated hospitals.
Period: July 11th – August 1st, 2010
Expected Participants: Medical students, Bachelor and Clinical level degrees.
Maximum Quota: 50 Participants.
Each country's quota will be limited.
Main topics: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, Malaria, Tuberculosis, in the modified Problem Based Learning (PBL) academic program.

- 3 weeks stay at host family
- 2 times daily Indonesian meals

- The application will be automatically closed when we reached the maximum quota. There is no announcement about the application closure; we will do the earliest completed applications to be enrolled.
